•Tallest Clocktower of India: The Lucknow Ghantaghar of Hisainabad is the tallest clock tower in India with a height of 130 meters, It was built in 1881 by Nawab Nasir-Ud-Din Haider for the arrival of Sir George Cooper. It was built for 1.75 Lakh INR.

•Chessboard of Charbagh: The Charbagh Railway Station of Lucknow is approximately 98 years old and a beautiful mixture of Awadhi, Mughalai, and Rajputana architecture. The station has been designed that it looks like a Chessboard from the air.

•Biggest Asian Park: The largest park of the Asian continent is also situated in Lucknow According to Wikipedia”The Janeshwar Mishra Park” is a total of 376 acres(1.52 km²)in the area and inspired by “The Hyde Park” London.


•Lucknawi Food: Lucknow is famous for its varieties of Biryani and Kababs, and is also known for adding deliciousness to every foody’s platter.


The Intricacy of Chikankari: The threadwork embroidery of the chikankari, a 400-year old art is Lucknow’s gift to the world. The cloth embroidery technique has not only been preserved but the city also happens to be the biggest manufacturers of this beautiful and intricate thread work.
