1.Maharaja’s Express

Best among all Indian luxury trains Maharaja’s Express is also one of the 5 most luxurious trains in the world. Tourists onboard get to experience the richness of the country in the most distinguished way possible. It was also voted “World’s Leading Luxury Train” for the years 2012,2013 and 2014 consecutively.

Maharaja’s Express is operational from October to April and plies on 5 different routes as mentioned below:

•The Heritage OF India: (Mumbai -Ajanta-Udaipur-Jodhpur-Bikaner-Jaipur-Ranthambore-Agra-Delhi).

•Gems Of India: (Delhi-Agra-Ranthambore-Jaipur-Delhi).

•The Indian Panorama: (Delhi-Jaipur-Ranthambore-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra-Gwalior-Orchha-Khajuraho-Varanasi-Lucknow-Delhi).

•Indian Splendor: (Delhi-Agra-Ranthambore-Jaipur-Bikaner-Jodhpur-Udaipur-Balasinor-Mumbai).

•Treasures Of India: (Delhi-Agra-Ranthambore-Jaipur-Delhi).

2.Palace On Wheels

“Palace On Wheels” is another luxury train of India. Luxurious cabins, exquisite wallpapers, well-stocked bar, gracious hospitality, and local culture displayed by the artistic use of painting and handicrafts this train is very much like a palace on wheels that recreates the bygone era of kings and their royal palaces.

Months of operation of Palace On Wheels are from September to April on the route mentioned below:

•Delhi-Jaipur-Sawai-Chittorgarh-Udaipur-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Bharatpur-Agra-Delhi.

3. Golden Chariot

The Golden Chariot is one of the superb luxury trains of India that takes you to some of the most tourist places in South India.

The Golden Chariot has AC chambers with royal interiors, bars, restaurants, mini gym, Ayurveda spa, and all 5-star facilities. It was also awarded as “Asia’s Leading Luxury Train” in the year 2013.

The Golden Chariot runs from October to March and plies on 2 different routes as mentioned below:

•Pride Of South: (Bangalore-Kabini-Mysore-Hassan-Hampi-Badami-Goa-Bangalore).

•Southern Splendor: (Bangalore-Chennai-Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry-Thanjavur-Madurai-Thrivunathpuram-Alleppey-Kochi-Bangalore).

4. Royal Orient Train

Traveling on the Royal Orient train is a combination of absolute chivalry and unimaginable opulence. It is one of the royal trains in India.

The palatial style cabins, well-trained hospitality, multi-cuisine restaurant with the “watering hole” bar, spacious baths, and almost all facilities come to your mind while imagining yourself in a 5-star hotel.

The Royal Orient train runs throughout the year on the route of:

•Delhi-Chittorgarh\Udaipur-Junagarh\Veraval-Sasan Gir\Dilwara-Palitana-Sarkhej-Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Delhi.

5. Heritage On Wheels

One of the oldest luxury trains in India, The Heritage ON Wheels shows the traditions and cultures of Rajasthan that have been passed from one generation to another in the finest manner possible. Making travelers feel like a Queen or a King, this luxury train will surely offer a memorable experience.

•Route: Jaipur-Tal Chappar and Shekhawati-Jaipur.

The Lakes of Nainital

Nainital is a famous hill station of Uttrakhand and especially famous for its beautiful lakes. There are a total of 6 lakes under the Nainital. “Tal” is a Hindi word that means Lake. Nainital Lake, Bhimtal, Sattal, Naukuchiatal, Khurpatal, Kamaltal are some beautiful lakes in Nainital and today we will talk about these amazing and beautiful lakes.

• Naini Lake (Nainital): One of the beautiful lakes in Nainital and surrounded by panoramic seven hills Naini lake is the favorite spot of couples around the world.

The north end of lake is called Mallital and the southern end of lake is called Tallital, Both ends have well laid out shopping centers, with beautifully laid of marts and luxury shops.

• Bhimtal Lake: Bhimtal Lake is located near the Bhimtal village sorrounded by green trees, The color of trees reflects on the water making it amazing piece of beauty.

Bhimtal Lake is at a scenic spot with a small island at its center and affords splendid views and visuals of nature’s beauty.

•Sattal Lake: Sattal Lake is a cluster of mysteriously interconnected seven freshwater lakes (Panna Tal, Nal-Damyanti Tal, Hanuman Tal, Sita Tal, Ram Tal, Laxman Tal, Sukha Tal) offering splendors of nature.

•Naukuchiatal Lake: Naukuchiatal Lake is another beautiful lake in Nainital. Naukuchiatal suggests a nine cornered lake. Since the lake is a quite big tourists can go boating for a long time and see a different view from different places within the lake.

•Khurpatal: The emarald blue lake of Khurpatal is another beautiful lake in Nainital and just 12km away from the main city. It is encircled by lofty pine and old cedar trees offering a gorgeous vista of mountains.

•Kamaltal (Lotus Lake): Kamaltal is another lake in the region and is located just opposite Naukuchiatal. This lake has a different name as this lake is abundant with lotus and hence is named Kamaltal (Lotus Lake).
